The Week of Easter

We have had a very eventful week as we prepare to celebrate Easter tomorrow. Cici and SS gave Baby B his first swing-set. He has had a lot of fun exploring it this week. He likes to climb on it but more than anything else he has enjoyed collecting pinecones, pinestraw, gumballs, dirt and rocks from around the yard and stacking them on top of the set.
Baby B also had a new milestone this week... He has learned to smile at the camera. He was eating a powdered donut and looked so cute with powder all over his face so I pulled out the camera. Everytime it got ready to flash he made a "big boy" smile. It has been so cute to watch!
Uncle Rhett has been with us this week so we decided to go to the beach for the day yesterday. We shopped at the outlets, ate at River City Cafe and finished up by taking Baby B out to see the ocean. He was especially fascinated by the shells, sand, and water. After he saw me rinsing a sandy shell off in the ocean, he thought that was a very fun game. It is so exciting to watch him making so many new discoveries.
Children
Children have such easy lives.
They don't start school until they're five.
They eat and sleep and laugh and play,
That's all kids do within a day.
They don't have to worry about work and money,
There's time to laugh and think everything is funny.
Children make mistakes but they don't care,
They go play with their teddy bear.
Children even have imaginary friends,
Thinking the days everlasting and never ends.
Children love to jump and dance and run,
That's what makes them cute and fun.
