Babys M's Nursery

Thanks to the help from Cici and Sanfran S's friend with the bedding and Daddy L's hard work building the corner shelves, chair molding and painting, Baby M's nursery is almost complete...

I'm going to wash up all of his clothes in a few weeks and then I think we will be all ready for his arrival!

Celebrating Two Daddies

Today I have thought of my two Daddies.

One held me right after I was born.

The other lovingly welcomed me to "the Tribe" of his wonderful family with a smile and twinkle in his bright blue eyes.

I feel blessed to have had both of these Daddies in my life. They loved me and cheered me on. They gave me priceless hugs and sweet kisses on the cheeks.

Both of these Daddies had great senses of humor and to this very day I know that I carry that "somewhat wacky" tendency to crack corny jokes and then laugh about them (myself) until I cry. Fortunately Uncle R has this same crazy funny bone.

It's wonderful to see CiCi's sweet SS and Mommy M's Daddy L and know that they are Fathers who are carrying on the tradition of loving, guiding and caring for their families.

Here's to our Daddies!
